Soto is one of the worst right fielders in baseball. He is not worth even half of that amount. They are better off without him. This will go down as the worst signing in all of sports, especially in baseball. The Mets are going to regret paying all that money and Cohen will find out real fast that he paid all that money to an barely above average player.

They're gambling on a 37-yr old Paul Goldschmit, an often-hurt Max Fried, and a 
 bad back Marvin Williams.  They traded away their 2nd baseman in Caleb Durbin.  And they're hoping that Cody Bellinger catches lighting in a bottle.  Cashman is an idiot.  He needs hitters. Not homerun boppers.  They live by the long ball.  He needs to stop that.  And Boone is an absolute knucklehead.  He's nothing like his father (Bob Boone).  Willie Randolph should be the manager.  And they need a GM who has a pair (you know what I'm referring to).  Trevor Bauer should be on the team.  What pitcher besides maybe Cole is better? George would have signed him.  Think it over.
